Why I’m Sharing This Story
This is my first blog post, and honestly, it feels vulnerable to write. But this story is the foundation of everything I do my family, our journey through infertility, and the quiet, brave decision to trust God and take a leap into photography when life didn’t look the way I expected.
I believe the brands that last are built from real stories, not perfect ones.
So this is mine.
When Life Didn’t Go According to Plan
Infertility has a way of reshaping you. It changes how you see time, faith, control, and hope. There were seasons where waiting felt heavier than I knew how to carry, and moments where trusting God felt more like obedience than peace.
I had a plan for my life.
I wanted to be married young.
I wanted three kids.
I remember asking God, why?
I didn’t think I deserved this.
I remember thinking, I’m a good person.
Eventually, I had to let go of the life I had planned for myself and accept the life God had for me and my husband.
In those seasons, I learned something that still anchors me today:
faith isn’t about clarity—it’s about showing up anyway.
The Gift of Family (In All Its Forms)
This photo represent answered prayers, resilience, and love that was hard-won. They capture the beauty of the family God gave us—not the one I once imagined—and I wouldn’t change that for anything.
My little family became a reminder that God’s timing is purposeful, even when it’s painful. Sometimes God gives us what we need, not what we want. And often, He shows up in ways we least expect.
Why Photography Became More Than a Career
Photography entered my life during a season of surrender. I didn’t start with a business plan—I started with a camera and a need to create meaning from my story.
Photography gave me a way to:
Slow down
See beauty again
Serve others through seasons they’ll never forget
It became less about images and more about honoring stories—especially the ones shaped by faith, loss, and redemption.
